We are seeking a passionate Health & Wellbeing Lead to oversee and guide our innovative health and wellbeing programme area.
This role is pivotal in providing evidence-based interventions, education, and social connection, framed by our understanding of Te Whare Tapa Wha, to help individuals with MS or Parkinson's and their whanau live well in their communities.Au Mahi | What You Will DoIn this role, you will:Design and Lead Programmes: Develop and lead specialised health and wellbeing programmes tailored to the unique needs of individuals with chronic conditions.Oversee and Inspire: Use your influencing skills to mentor our Health & Wellbeing Advisors.
Manage contractors and volunteers to deliver engaging and effective programmes.Empower Participants: Maintain your own caseload, providing assessment and interventions to optimise outcomes for participants.Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with health and community sectors to ensure our programmes are aligned with current best practices and develop a broad range of health and wellbeing education offerings.Report and Reflect: Prepare and present financial and programme reports to the Manager, ensuring transparency and accountability.This role is perfect for someone eager to work closely with those in the neurological field and enhance their expertise in MS and Parkinson's conditions.
