Health, Safety and Operational Excellence Specialist At Booths Logistics, our mission is 'Be Safe Home Safe'. Nothing is more important than making sure everyone on our team gets home safely.
The Role:
We have a brilliant opportunity for a passionate Health & Safety Professional to join the Booths Team. Reporting to our National Health & Safety Manager, you will use your expertise to champion a strong culture of safety and wellbeing across our business.
This is a predominately office-based role and will provide the business with technical advice and support including reporting, monitoring our critical risk areas, and managing and developing our H&S systems and processes. You will be preferably based in Auckland, but we will consider candidates from across the country.
What you can offer us:
Proven experience of health and safety management, with a focus on technical aspects
Strong understanding of New Zealand health and safety legislation and regulations (HSWA 2015 and relevant amendments)
Experience with Health and Safety database management and reporting systems
Excellent attention to detail and data management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
High professional work standards, work ethic, personal presentation
Ability to adapt to change in a high-paced work environment
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with people issues and commercial information
Qualifications:
Ideally, you will have a Level 3 H&S Certificate and/or at least 3 years' experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
