We need a keen and motivated Asphalt Plant Operator to join the Fulton Hogan team at our Asphalt Plant based at our Hamilton depot.
Your primary tasks will be focused on training for your new role, then operating our asphalt plant.
You will be part of a highly knowledgeable and experienced team and, once trained, will rotate daily tasks regularly with them.
This means you will have a good amount of variety to your day and will be able to: Operate the asphalt plant.
Operate the loader & excavator.
Bag EZ Street product.
Load customers.
Perform basic daily maintenance.
Also with our brand new asphalt plant, you will have the chance to work and operate a new toy
To be successful in this role, you will: Be able to work well with others and have a mind for health and safety.
Enjoy getting stuck in with your team and take pride in the products you are producing.
Possess WTR & forklift endorsement.
Have 3+ years operating a loader.
Have asphalt knowledge & experience.
Have a Class 2 licence (preferred but not essential).
Be confident with computers and numbers.
Have a desire to learn and pick up new skills.
Demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
Be mechanically and practically minded.
Exhibit good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Be a team player, self-motivated, and take pride in your work.
Have a passion and commitment to safety in the workplace.
