Precision Profile Ltd is a locally owned and operated company that specialises in supplying steel profiles for engineering businesses around the Otago/Southland area. You will be using a range of software to assist you in this role; therefore, computer skills are vital, along with the ability to prioritise and organise your work to achieve results. A background in the steel industry or an interest in engineering would be preferable; however, getting someone with the right attitude and the willingness to strive for continuous improvement is imperative.The successful applicant will:Load & Unload Trucks with both Cranes and Forklift (full training provided)Prepare the completed job for shipping/dispatchOrganise and document Steel Stocks arriving from across New ZealandReconcile and group orders and update customers on timeframesLiaise with productionTo succeed in this role, you will need:Excellent communication and relationship-building skillsExperience with forklifts and, ideally, overhead cranes (full training will be provided for both)Experience in a Dispatch position, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environmentFamiliarity with using general computer programs, such as Word and ExcelGood command of the English language and competent "on phone" skillsGreat organisational skillsAll applicants must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand and ideally live in Dunedin or surrounding areas.This is a crucial role within our company as you will deal directly with customers and suppliers.If this role sounds like it could be you, apply by clicking on the button below, which includes your cover letter and CV to support your application.
