We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated and experienced in New Zealand Case Law, specifically in dealing with Motor Vehicle claims.You will be based in our stunning new central Auckland offices, where you will join a team that is passionate about providing the best experience.
This role has flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.Some of the key responsibilities:Working with At Fault 3rd parties to agree liability, negotiate settlement in full or through repayment plans.Liaising between 3rd Party Insurers, Brokers, and LawyersPreparing cases and representing the company at Disputes Tribunal HearingsNegotiating and confirming repayment of debt in a professional and service-oriented mannerReceiving and investigating customer complaints, and escalating as requiredAbout you:Minimum two years experience in insurance and recoveriesExtensive experience in applying New Zealand Case Law in support of liability and/or quantum disputesUnderstanding of Motor vehicle claims processesStrong knowledge of Motor vehicle damage and repairKnowledge of Road User Code and Land Transport (Road User) Rule 2004Knowledge of New Zealand legal system and processes, including experience attending Disputes Tribunal casesAbility to plan and prioritise tasks to meet timeframesProven customer service skillsConfident negotiatorTo apply:Please submit your resume accompanied by a cover letter detailing your suitability for the role.
