In fact, their mission is to become the most trusted and effective digital team in local government by 2027.But it's not just about technology; it's about people – fostering a culture of problem solving, proactivity, and agility.To champion agility, the Digital Services unit has adopted an "agile" way of working, meaning our teams work in two-week sprints and work from a backlog that is agreed by each teams' Product Owners, who in turn work to establish priorities.Job DescriptionHe angituutanga: The opportunityDo you consider yourself forward-thinking with a keen interest in achieving product success?Do you aspire to be an integral part of our collaborative scrum team and help deliver cutting-edge, top-tier solutions that benefit our organisation?We are seeking a dynamic Platform Analyst to help deliver our innovative projects within the HR and Regulatory sectors.You'll join our Digital Services team that are focused on enabling Hamilton City Council through digital means to achieve our goals, long-term vision, and the needs of our community.Joining our team of platform and digital product experts, you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of our HR & Regulatory platform services, providing solutions with exceptional outcomes that meet our customers' needs.
You'll collaborate with other platform teams and stakeholders to ensure that digital delivery and operations are met and delivered consistently.We support flexible working for our team with a hybrid approach.
Ideally, you will be in the office at least 3 days per week to build connections and support your team.
To ensure that you are fully onboarded and have the support needed to establish yourself in this new role, we would require you to be in the office 4 to 5 days a week in the first couple of months.You will thrive in this role if you:Are comfortable working within an Agile scrum framework.Excel in collaborative settings, promoting a culture of excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction.Can translate technical to non-technical, aligning to business outcomes, business analysis and engagement to deliver visualizations of the targeted solutions.Actively contribute to design and optimisation, including responsibilities related to designing operational workflows and optimizing processes.Excel at supplier management and co-ordination.Understand the importance of platform governance and advocating for best practice.Enjoy acquiring a thorough understanding of both business and technology within your platform team's domain to support the delivery of appropriate technology solutions.Can maintain, enhance and support new and existing platforms, systems, and services in accordance with policies and processes, including change management and release management.Understand problem and priority incident management processes and procedures applied to analyse, identify root cause, work arounds, business communication and testing to resolve and return systems to operating state.Perform or manage preventative maintenance, including the installation of patches, hot fixes and so on as required.Focus on delivering outcomes over outputs, while playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business processes and technology solutions.Are confident configuring workflow, dashboards, and forms within a SaaS environment.Adept at creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.Able to work independently, manage workloads, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.QualificationsOo puumanawa me oo wheako | Your skills and experienceExperience making HR and Regulatory systems meet the needs of the organisation.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively manage challenging and diverse customer needs.Experience with SAP Success Factors and SaaS based ERP systems.Additional InformationHe aha te wariu o te utu kaimahi?
