This role allows opportunities to engage with the wider communityand organisations to make a real difference for our rural Tangata Whaiora.
Therural team covers an extensive area between Kaikoura to the north and theRakaia River in the south.

You will be embedded in a supportive multi-disciplinary teambased at Fergusson Building at Hillmorton Hospital.
This is a great opportunityto join with the larger adult services psychology team and provides significantopportunities for professional development and progression, individual and peersupervision, journal club, and targeted professional development.
This role provides flexibility in how you deliver care - likelyinvolving seeing consumers at Hillmorton, day travel for rural clinics,telehealth, and some inpatient consultation.
This position isopen as a permanent role but is also available as a 12-month secondment – so ifyou are looking for a great professional development opportunity, get in touch.
Permanent position, or 12-month secondment – 0.5 FTE position available for 20 hours per week.

Ko wai koe | About You You will require registrationin the clinical scope of practice with the NZ Psychologists Board.
Previousexperience in the Adult Mental Health field is preferred but your other skillbackgrounds or experience will be given full consideration.
The position is a busy role where excellent interpersonal skills andorganisational skills are vital.
You will draw on your mental health experienceto deliver comprehensive assessment and support to clients and theirfamilies/whanau and will be an active participant in our multidisciplinaryteam, working closely with referrers and colleagues from other agencies.
