Is Food Safety and Quality compliance your passion? Reporting to the GM of Food Safety and Quality, this exciting new role at ZIWI is all about keeping our production sites and products in tip-top shape according to ZIWI standards and regulatory guidelines.
As our Compliance Lead, you'll be the ultimate go-to guru, collaborating with our dynamic Quality and Production teams across Freeze Dried Foods and all ZIWI production sites. Think of yourself as the bridge that connects teams to tackle any quality or food safety challenges that pop up. You'll also lead our internal and external audit programs, guiding us through any necessary improvements with flair
Success in this role means you're a champion of continuous improvement, always looking for ways to raise the bar on quality. You bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in HACCP, GMP, and RMP systems, plus a solid understanding of the regulations that keep our animal consumption products safe and sound.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support Production Managers to determine methods to resolve any quality or food safety compliance issues.
Lead design and delivery of training of the Production teams in Quality processes and control checks.
Implement, maintain and improve the effectiveness of the food safety and quality system.
Ensure all significant changes in legislation and OMARs are approved through the change management system.

Key Requirements:

A tertiary qualification in a science or related discipline.
Proven hands-on experience within an export food manufacturing environment – min 5+ years.
Passion for quality and continuous improvement.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of RMP, GMP and HACCP systems.
A collaborative hands-on approach and can positively influence change across all levels.
