This position offers variety from managing and supporting staff working in the community to ensure equitable programme participation to ensuring participants with a positive screening result receive further assessment and are referred to treatment services if required.In this role you will be reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the programme delivery, including developing, and overseeing the service delivery, equity, quality and communication plans and reporting against these plans and contract.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday and based at Manukau Health Park.About youYou will be liaising with a range of community, primary and secondary services.
Therefore, it is essential that you have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a history of fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.To be successful in this role you will have;A relevant tertiary qualification or be a qualified health professional, with a minimum of 4 years' experience working in a health care setting.Previous experience managing staff and team building skillsExperience working in partnership with Maaori and Pacific community or primary care organisations, understanding quality improvement processes and systems and previous experience working in public health programmes will be an advantage.You will need to be a well-developed conceptual thinker with a strategic focus and have strong relationship, communication and leadership skills.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
