They stay famous and beloved because we're always working to deliver relevant and exciting customer experiences to Kiwis, including a growing number of public good and sustainability initiatives.Te kaupapa o te turanga - The purpose of the role.Hours of work:Monday - 4pm - 10pmTuesday - 4pm - 10pmThis is a fixed-term role that has an end date of the 27th of January 2026.As a Checkout Team Member, you will often serve as the last point of contact for our customers at the checkout.
You will provide speedy service and assist customers in packing their bags.
You should possess the patience and resilience to handle even the most challenging situations, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.
As a mobile member of the team, you will be quick on your feet, guiding customers to the next available checkout and responding to their needs with precision and efficiency.You will also play a crucial role in assisting our loss prevention team by bringing concerns to their attention and ensuring the area is always customer-ready, with bags stocked and areas tidy.If you have what it takes to excel in this role, we'd love to hear from youExperience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, is beneficial but not essential.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn are a must.
