You are expected to be a qualified MIT with current registration and recent experience in general diagnostic radiography.Current New Zealand Scope of Practice Medical Imaging TechnologistCurrent industry/discipline knowledgeKnowledge of Te Whatu Ora processes and protocolsA broad range of clinical skillsVision, innovation, and a commitment to facilitating own and others' learning.Flexibility to work in a range of theoretical and clinical coursesCapable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes.Digital literacy including - competence using a computer (including Microsoft office products)Effective communication with a diverse range of others, at all levels within and outside the organisationPassionate about medical imaging and the opportunities to improve practice or give back to health sector through education.Ara Institute of Canterbury a business division of Te Pukenga (Ara), is a vibrant and progressive tertiary institute providing world-class, tertiary-level education throughout the Canterbury and Waitaki region.
