Part Time Application Closes 10 Nov 2024 Waikato - Taupo Healthcare Support Worker Miranda Smith Homecare is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and loyal caregiver to provide overnight support to a lovely client who has made the wonderful decision to remain living in the comfort of her own home.
We are in a privileged position to be able to provide overnight support to our client, living in central Taupo.
We currently support our client 7 days per week, and are looking to add to the team of excellent cares who work rostered shifts.
These are sleepover shifts from 8pm to 8am.
The start of the shift is providing night cares and settling the client to bed.
Our client typically sleeps well through the night, and in the morning you will be responsible for her morning cares and breakfast preparation.
Experience with hoists is an advantage, but we can also provide training if required.
This is a nice long shift that can fit around your lifestyle so you can balance work and still enjoy the things you love to do.
There may also be opportunities to fill shifts for team members who are away or off sick.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life and will be a truly rewarding and fulfilling role
We would love to hear from you if you have had previous care-giving experience.
This position would suit someone who is adaptable and willing to work alongside a small and dedicated team.
We are open to consider those who live out of Taupo who are willing to travel for this longer shifts.
Ideal Candidate must have: Previous care giving experience including personal cares A clean full NZ Driver's License and your own car Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to work legally in New Zealand - having already obtained valid work visas A clear background and criminal check
