You will work closely with tauira, addressing various challengesthey may encounter and guiding them towards successful outcomes.
As a pillar ofsupport, addressing a wide range of issues that our tauira may face, includingacademic challenges, attendance issues, career guidance, enrolment proceduresand more.
You will actively engage in problem-solving and barrier removal tofoster an environment conducive to learning and growth.
You will alsocommunicate with fellow advisors and kaimahi to ensure a cohesive approach tosupporting our tauira and achieving positive outcomes.About youYou will bring with you the following:A bachelor's degree in a field relevant to education, psychology, orsociology.
Full New Zealand driver's license.
2+ years' experience in an education or social services type role.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to coach, mentor and build relationships with people atall levels.
Intermediate user knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.
As akaupapa Maori organisation, your willingness to participate in culturalactivities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture andtikanga) is desirable.Apply todayWe are currently closed for the Christmas/New Year period.
