Co-designed with over 400 members of the Lakes community, this model is focused on empowering people through recovery and healing.About The RoleWe are seeking a Psychiatrist with experience in Addictions and OST to join our passionate team dedicated to putting people first, integrating Te Ao Maori into everyday practice, leading with kindness, and achieving excellence.This flexible role is based with the Lakes Opioid Treatment Service and includes General Adult Psychiatry with a focus on addictions.
Overtime, you may have opportunities to rotate into inpatient or other community positions.While primarily based in Rotorua, the role also includes clinic days at our satellite office in Taupo.
A key focus of this position is building strong relationships and working collaboratively with our addiction partners, including Manaaki Ora in Rotorua and arc Counselling Services in the Southern Lakes region.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
