SUPPLY CHAIN Rocket Lab's Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business. With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers' missions, the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They set up the assembly kits that enable our technicians to put together our Electron rockets, manage inventory, look after shipping and receiving, manage direct and indirect procurement, and inspect and ensure that all of our materials and products are compliant and up to standard.
STOREPERSON II As a Storeperson II based at Rocket Lab's site in Auckland, New Zealand, you will have the opportunity to support Supply Chain DIFOT and high customer service levels through the constant strive to receive and supply the right parts, to the right place, at the right time. To be successful in this role, you must be task and outcomes driven, have high attention to detail and thrive in a collaborative environment.
This role is working Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure SOP's for processing of inwards goods are adhered toEnsure accurate and on-time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with Production & Transfer Order Plans / PrioritiesPick, pack, and dispatchWork cross-functionally to relieve bottlenecksParticipate in a daily cycle counting programEnsure FIFO is managed and maintained to achieve appropriate stock rotationInvestigate and resolve any discrepanciesYOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years in a similar positionPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused working environmentExperience working under pressure and to tight deadlinesHighly organized with high attention to detailReliable and willing to work extra hours when requiredThe ability to learn quickly and work proactively without direct supervisionWHAT TO EXPECT We're on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that's not an easy task.
