As the Senior Sales Consultant, you will be primarily focused on delivering exceptional sales performance while also serving as a key point of escalation for issues in the absence of the Sales Manager. As a high-achieving sales consultant, you will be expected to meet and surpass sales targets through a deep understanding of our product offerings and the ability to tailor these to customer needs. In addition to driving sales, your role involves stepping into a leadership position as needed, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring smooth store operations. This dual function requires excellent sales acumen, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong leadership skills. This role will be a stepping stone to further opportunities within our organisation, so we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual that will ensure customer service is not an afterthought but an intrinsic part of the sales process. To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience in a sales consultant role. In addition, you will: Be known for your sound honesty, integrity and open communication Be results driven and passionate about making a difference with your customers Be known for your outstanding customer focus, relationship-building skills and ability to deliver results Have a strong work ethic, are committed to adding value to your role and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done Have a proven competitive edge with exceptional organisational skills Have previous experience and knowledge of retail management software, along with Microsoft Office At Target Furniture, we are a vibrant and diverse team culture.
