Where you'll be working:Hamilton City- Obstetrics and Gynaecology The details:Permanent - 32 - 41 hours per week - rostered daytime and on call duties Be part of the national transformation in Health Be part of a high performing Gynaecology and Obstetrics team of 16 Join Our Advanced Laparoscopic Team (AGES Training Centre) Supportive multi-disciplinary team environment The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic Obstetrician and advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecologist, with Level 6 AGEs Scope of Clinical Practise, to replace a valued team member who is heading overseas. Our dedicated team in Women's Health is based atHamilton, New Zealand. This is a permanent position which is negotiable between 32 hours per week minimum up to 41 hours per week. We encourage applications from generalists with AGEs Level 6 advanced laparoscopic surgical skills, to support training of our AGEs fellow with our work is essential. A commitment to patient centred care and multi-disciplinary team-work is essential. Applicants must be both flexible in their approach and be wiling to contribute positively to the service with particular focus on elective services. The applicant must by eligible for medical registration in New Zealand. The Hospital in Hamilton is one of New Zealand's largest tertiary, teaching hospitals with over 600 inpatient beds and 22 operating theatres. Clinical specialities include Women's and Children Services, Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Surgery, Oncology and Haematology, Surgical services, and Mental Health and Addiction. The Hospital is the Midland regional referral centre for multiple specialties including trauma surgery, oncology, and neurology.
