In this role, you'll be contributing directly to the people plans and delivering strategic people outcomes within your portfolio.As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in creating and sustaining a front office for the P&C team, innovating for the future.
You will provide strategic and operational P&C direction, advice, and support to the Executive and Senior Leadership of Stats NZ, enabling them to achieve their objectives while growing their people.This role would suit someone who can bring:Extensive experience as a generalist senior advisor or business partner in People & CultureProven ability to lead, influence, and drive change at senior levelsStrong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, including unions.Specialist knowledge in areas such as Culture & Change, Employment Relations, Remuneration, Workforce Planning, and more.You may have had previous experience coaching and/or leading a small team.An open and fresh approach with a growth mindset, and inclusive and collaborative leadership style.Experience in working in a Te Ao Maori context so that you contribute meaningful work and we can deliver outcomes for Maori communities.What you bring | Nou te rourouWe understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
