We provide a great team environment with a continuous training and improvement plan to help you achieve your goals.A bit about the role:We are looking for a Front of House Cafe Shift Supervisor to join the team at our BRAND-NEW Columbus Coffee Caf located at Mitre 10 Wainuiomata.In this role you will be responsible for:Supervising the workflow, staffing levels and day-to-day operational requirements in absence of the Caf Manager.Supporting the team as and when required by delivering expert advice and solutions to customers.Assisting the Caf Manager with staff supervision responsibilities, including recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management.We are looking for someone who has:Qualification or comparable experience/skill as either Barista or Chef.Complete competence in Cash Handling and POS, Web based Customer and supplier Systems.Calm disposition and ability to maintain a consistently positive attitude under pressure.A good understanding of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality control.Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations and procedures.In addition, the successful candidate will have a genuine interest in hospitality and strive for excellence in delivering outstanding service to our customers.This is a full-time role, rostered a minimum of 30 hours per week, between Monday and Sunday.If this sounds appealing to you and you think you can deliver on what we seek, then please apply as soon as you can
