We're striving to create a multidisciplinary team to offer our clients the best range of talent.Supporting one of our key clients, we are seeking a Principal EC&I Engineer to provide CE&I design support to the construction, installation and commissioning activities on the plant, working closely with the associated site based engineering teams.
This will be part of the Sellafield Ltd Intelligent Customer Engineering team, overseeing and liaising with the main contractor engineering delivery team.
The role will support the project throughout all the delivery phases of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and beyond into active operational ramp up of the plant.The role holder will:Report directly to the CE&I Responsible Engineer in the act of discharging the role of Design Intelligent Customer.Provide appropriate independent governance, oversight and strategic control for the scrutiny of engineering design and design delivery across multiple work packages / systems on the BEP project.Provide package/system specific design support.Provide periodic/occasional on site support to the delivery of CE&I design and Intelligent Customer oversight.Knowledge and Experience Required:Experience on plant process control systems with PLC/SCADA or equivalent architectures.Knowledge of PES/Software lifecycle and supporting design and test documentation.Knowledge of Concise and how it is applied and managed throughout the design process.Engineer will be required to provide technical support during design close out, installation and commissioning.Support to FOB process and development of engineering solutions with the project contractor.Knowledge of CE Marking and Machinery Risk Assessments.Understanding of contractual practices and arrangements, NEC3 contract or other similar arrangement experience preferred.Employee Staff Benefits:8.5% Pension Contribution & Life AssurancePrivate Medical Scheme*Employee Share SchemeSalary Sacrifice Schemes: Electrical Vehicles, Technology and Cycle to Work18 Weeks Full Maternity Pay* (+21w SMP)25 days holiday (increasing to 28 days after 5 years' service, 31 days after 10 years' service)Option to buy, sell and carry over up to 5 days annual leave per yearIn partnership with trade unionsPersonal Development & Further Education SupportLong Service & Recognition AwardsFree Employee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible hybrid & agile workingNuvia - a subsidiary of VINCI construction - is an international company that operates across highly regulated sectors including Civil Nuclear and has a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally.Nuvia is a performance-driven company that is committed to the development of its people within a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.Nuvia UK is committed towards equality in employment.
