Distinction Whangarei is located in the heart of Northland.
With accommodation, Portobello Restaurant, a bar, and conference facilities, we have an exciting position available for an experienced Demi Chef de Partie.
The Distinction Hotel Group's goal is for every visitor exploring the beauty of New Zealand's most captivating regions to stay in quality, comfortable accommodation with the highest standard of service.
Position requirements include: Experience in a la carte cookeryVersatility to cook in any of our outlets: breakfast, lunch, or dinnerWork well under pressure in a busy kitchen environmentGood understanding of kitchen operationsReliability and a positive work attitudeAvailability to work over a 7-day rosterGood understanding of all hygiene standards, good cooking practices & food control plans in line with health and hygiene regulationsA minimum of 1-2 years experienceThis position is full-time, with a minimum of 30-40 hours of work available per week.
We have 3 positions available in our kitchen brigade.
This position will pay between $25-30 per hour.
