We're seeking a fabric-loving individual to join our team as a part-time Retail Assistant at our store located on College.
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for fabric, coupled with knowledge of garment construction, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.
Proactively achieve sales targets through effective communication and product knowledge.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient store environment.
Requirements: Enthusiasm for our products and the textile industry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
Genuine passion for fabric and garment construction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
About The Fabric Store: The Fabric Store is a boutique fabric retailer, specializing in contemporary designer dress fabrics and textiles, with a strong focus on natural fibres.
Our brand began in New Zealand and now has stores throughout New Zealand and Australia, as well as an international online store.
Fabrics are sourced from both local and international designers and include silks, linens, wool suiting & coatings, satins, cottons, and specialty pieces such as merino jersey, leather hides, and Liberty of London prints.
