As part of our retail store, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers who are passionate about RVs, camping, and outdoor adventures.
We pride ourselves on creating a positive and engaging workplace, where every team member is valued and supported.
What You'll Do
As a Retail Assistant, you'll be the face of our store, responsible for:
Customer Service: Providing outstanding customer service, building relationships, and assisting customers with questions, complaints, and product inquiries.Sales Operations: Meeting sales targets, handling payments, and processing online orders as required.Merchandising: Restocking shelves, ensuring products are well presented, priced correctly, and implementing layout changes.End-of-Day Procedures: Completing cash reconciliation, banking, and ensuring all tasks are done accurately each day.Stock Control: Participating in stock takes, investigating variances, and facilitating special orders as needed.Promotions & Events: Assisting with in-store promotions and representing us at off-site trade shows.Working Hours: Minimum 24 hours per week with shifts across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Flexibility to increase hours during peak seasons is available.
Key Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Retail Sales Experience: Proven retail experience with the ability to meet sales targets; experience in RV, camping, marine, or automotive sales is an advantage.Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a friendly and positive attitude.Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and be responsible for the quality and completion of tasks.Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.Computer Skills: Competent with computers, including knowledge of Excel and Word.Numeracy Skills: Confidence with basic sales calculations and cash handling.Why Join Us?
