This is a permanent position 0.4 FTE.
Assist in delivering high-quality care to patients attending secondary care outpatient clinics, ensuring their comfort and addressing their needs effectively.
Contribute to the well-being of our community by supporting patients through their outpatient care journey.About the Team/Service/LocationSupporting secondary care, full onsite training is provided, and you will be supported by a team of skilled enrolled and registered nurses.About YouRecommended Skills:Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in outpatient or secondary care environments.Strong commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
