You will work with the Clinical Nurse Manager in operational aspects of the role to develop quality assurance framework, equipment maintenance and assist with technical aspects of your role.
You will work with the Cardiac Sonography Professional lead in professional development of workforce and service.
You will have up to 0.2FTE assigned to non-clinical workload.
Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Cardiac Physiologist Team lead to work in our Cardiology and Respiratory Department at Taranaki Base and Hawera Hospital.
You would be working as part of a dynamic team.
The department offers:
Pacemaker follow up (ICD/CRT/Brady)ILR implantation and follow upDiagnostic Coronary AngiographyAmbulatory Cardiac MonitoringExercise Treadmill testingLung Function testing (This is not a core responsibility, however may be called upon to assist)The successful candidate will require to be:
· Must have membership with the SCT (The Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology NZ) · Ideally in the process of attaining an APC with the CPRB (Clinical Physiologists Registration Board) Proven management and leadership skills and experience.
