Our operations cover extensive growing, packing, storage, logistics and marketing.The OpportunityThis role offers a unique blend of technical leadership and strategic management, overseeing critical infrastructure and systems that support our packhouse and orchard operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Packhouse Manager to enhance operational efficiency and minimise downtimeLead and develop a skilled workshop team responsible for maintaining orchard and packhouse machinery, coolstores, infrastructure and special projects.Drive departmental culture and performanceDrive cost optimisation initiatives across facility operationsManage and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programmesEnsure maintenance of orchard infrastructure, including wind machines and irrigation systemsOversee site security and fire monitoring systemsReport directly to the Senior ExecutiveYour Experience and AttributesTechnical qualification, preferably in Mechanical or Refrigeration EngineeringAn appetite to broaden your knowledge and expertiseProven leadership experience, preferably in food industriesCompetence in team and supplier relationshipsEntrepreneurial mindset with natural leadership capabilitiesResults-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHands-on attitude combined with strategic thinking abilitiesCommitment to continuous improvementWhat We OfferKey leadership role with real influence on business successCompetitive remuneration packageOpportunity to join a highly respected organisation with a strong track record of growthIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and join an organisation that values practical experience, sustainability, and excellence, we want to hear from you.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
