We strongly support and play a leading role in New Zealand's successful transition to a low-carbon economy.We are recruiting a Production Technician to work on some of New Zealand's Renewable Baseload Geothermal Generation based at Kawerau Power Station, near Rotorua and Whakatane.The Geothermal Production Technician is an integral member of a dedicated team that maintains, operates, manages, and continuously improves Mercury's Geothermal generation assets.These roles are day work positions, Monday to Friday (0730-1600) where you will be provided with all the training you need to become a subject matter expert at Kawerau.
You will have the opportunity to learn from your peers and widen your expertise across our Geothermal generation sites.The roles are safety sensitive and will require you to work alongside others where you will be responsible for planning and implementing safety measures, preparing and issuing work controls enabling our engineering, maintenance staff and contractors' safe access to generation equipment.
