Known for their supportive and social environment, they're offering a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their Family Law team.
About the Role This role involves supporting senior lawyers in Family Law, including relationship property, care of children, and protection orders.
You'll also gain exposure to wider litigation matters.
Key responsibilities include: Managing files (electronic and physical) and completing client AML compliance.
Preparing basic legal documents, correspondence, and monthly billing.
Processing Legal Aid applications and Ministry of Justice invoicing.
Scheduling meetings, diary management, and liaising with clients.
Providing general secretarial and administrative support to the team.
About You The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years' experience in family law or professional services administration.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with Legal Aid processes and a high level of technical accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude and clear communication skills.
