Fuel Tanker Operations Driver - Aviation and Fuels Petroleum Logistics T/A Gofuel Listed 3 days ago Listing Description Location: Auckland Job type: Full time Duration: Permanent Company benefits: Health Insurance and subsidised personal fuel card Description Due to company growth in our Auckland operation with tankers on Aviation fuels and Diesel/Petrol, we have a full-time opportunity for a motivated, experienced driver looking for secure work with a company that values its team and has an impeccable safety record.
This role can lead to further opportunities within the company.
The successful applicant will work in a friendly, fast-paced team environment.
We are looking for a 'people person' who understands the importance of customer service and maintaining great customer relations.
A current Dangerous Goods endorsement is essential along with a Class 5 and clean driver's licence.
We will provide training for Dangerous Goods if required.
Key attributes: Must be neat and tidy and interact with customers.
A positive attitude and commitment to the success of the business.
Organisational skills with a high degree of written and verbal communication.
Understanding of machinery (rigid truck and trailer & semi) and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Physically fit and capable, prepared to work.
Confident with paperwork, handheld tablet, numeracy, and quality documentation.
Responsibilities include: Deliver petroleum products to customers on-site and our own company sites around the North Island and Auckland region.
Overnight travel required for Aviation deliveries.
Aviation delivery direct to our clients' tanks and our Aviation network tanks with significant customer interaction.
Some petrol and diesel fuel deliveries to our Marine sites around the Auckland region.
Maintain a high standard of health and safety and quality assurance, including loading fuel tankers at the terminal, working to a delivery schedule, and keeping tankers and work sites clean and tidy.
Other duties as required and work as a team.
The successful applicant will be safety-focused, take pride in their work and truck, complete their work to a high standard, and demonstrate a flexible attitude to meet the demands of our operation and customers.
