About the role: We have an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Line Mechanic within our team working across the Waikato, based out of our Matamata depot.
You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations.
You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing risk control measures to assigned work tasks, in order to provide a safe work environment.
Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills It is essential that you are an experienced Line Mechanic with knowledge of the power industry and can offer the following: Essential Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising licence NZQF Level 4 qualification Current Class 1 driver's licence (car) Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work Desirable G&B qualification Class 2 licence 2 Years Post Qualification experience Faults Experience Ko wai matou | Our Organisation Want to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
