There is potential to work within rehabilitation services such as Vocational, ICPMSK, Concussion, Training for Independence, Private Hospital, and ACC Assessment Services.If you are a Physiotherapist, there is potential for a hybrid clinic/vocational role depending on your skills/experience and interests.You will receive extensive training and mentoring depending on your experience level and will be supported by the Queenstown Clinic Manager.We can offer either full-time or part-time working hours to suit your needs and offer work-life balance.You will manage your diary and have the option to complete reporting and administration tasks from home.About The Queenstown TeamOur clinic is based in the new Queenstown Medical Centre of Medical Excellence building, Lake Hayes.
The team currently consists of four Physiotherapists, one Occupational Therapist, and our Clinic Administrator.
The Community Therapists cover the Queenstown and Central Otago areas.
We work closely with specialists and the Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital.We pride ourselves on having a great team culture and enjoy working closely together to achieve great outcomes for our clients.Our team members have the opportunity to contribute their expertise by taking on additional roles such as Clinical Advisor etc.
You will be part of a team that has achieved some great things in the equity space as well.
We continue to increase the cultural capability of the team and build new networks in the community with Maori health providers and local iwi.Skills and Experiences:About YouThis is a clinical role, therefore, you must have a Bachelor's degree in either Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience or a post-graduate qualification but this is not essential.Previous experience working in Vocational Rehabilitation or ACC contracts would be a strong advantage.
