You will facilitate and manage collaborative design workshops, develop insightful service design outputs, and provide strategic feedback to ensure our services effectively meet the needs of our stakeholders.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly UX Designers, the Senior Product Owner - Census Survey, and Senior Operations Lead within Census Design and Delivery, to translate community insights into actionable and impactful service improvements, specifically in support of census and wider population and social statistics.This role would suit someone with:Experience in service design, user experience design, or a related role, with significant experience in community engagement and census or survey design.Strong expertise in service design methodologies, including design thinking, user research, and prototyping.Proven ability to create user-centred design solutions that address community needs.Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in design tools.Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive design decisions.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.Knowledge and experience, or desire to learn and build knowledge and experience of Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Maori, and engagement with Iwi.Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) would be advantageous.Demonstrated or encouraged diversity and inclusion in and/or outside of work.We understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
