We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Silverstripe teamAt Silverstripe, we create compelling experiences for people online using creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

Not only will you be working in a squad, solving issues and working with a number of different clients, but you will also have the opportunity to support our Platform and CMS space.What will you be doing?Solving technical issues and creating digital solutions that meet client requirementsWriting modular, performant, testable code that is easy for other developers to follow and useProviding application support to customers hosted on Silverstripe CloudProviding minor CMS updates for customers and supporting our CMS team as requiredProviding development capability to customersWe're looking for people who are:Able to see the bigger picture, anticipate technical challenges, and relay these to the clientFlexible and have the confidence to quickly learn and apply ideas as you goMentors that want to support our Intermediate and Junior DevelopersAble to identify, spot, and resolve issues to help Silverstripe in the continuous improvement of our technical processesChampions of our values of Care, Camaraderie, and CuriosityWhat skills and experience are we looking for?RequiredA Full Stack developer backgroundExtensive knowledge of Silverstripe CMS, and if possible, versions 3, 4 and 5 that can be applied to support our customersProven experience communicating with clients, including troubleshooting a range of problemsExperience in a service desk environment, responding to clients and resolving issues.Experience in migrating customers between services, ie: CWP to Silverstripe CloudHigh proficiency in Behat, PHPUnit, Cypress, Storybook, and ElasticDesiredExperience in providing technical support to NZ government agencies and local government clientsExperience working with financial institutionsAt Silverstripe, we're passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity.
