About the opportunity At Genesis, we believe that proactive maintenance is the key to efficiency, and that's where you come in.
As a Predictive Maintenance Engineer, you'll take a hands-on approach to condition monitoring, using vibration analysis and predictive analytics to keep our power stations running at peak performance.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential issues early, provide technical insights, and ensure maintenance decisions are backed by solid data.
Beyond monitoring, you'll contribute to process improvements, leverage the latest technology, and help shape predictive maintenance strategies that make a real impact.

This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Huntly site or Hamilton office.
It will involve travel to our other generating sites and may require availability for after-hours calls to assist with fault finding. About you You're hands-on, detail-focused, and always thinking one step ahead.
With a strong engineering background, you're comfortable working with data, diagnosing issues, and helping teams take proactive action.
Key Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experienceCategory II/III Vibration Analyst certificationProven experience in a heavy engineering environment, including vibration analysisStrong knowledge of modern vibration monitoring programsBackground in condition monitoring (extra points for large reaction steam or hydro turbine exposure).At Genesis, we value your wellbeing and your contribution to our team.
