We pride ourselves on our relationships, our commitment to creating the best customer experiences, and how closely we work with teams across the bank to help our customers achieve their goals.In this Rural Analyst role, you will be part of a specialist team providing information and support to the Rural Relationship team and their customers.
Through proactive monitoring of profiles, you will analyse and assess financial data, as well as perform other tasks associated with customers' lending needs.With responsibility for adherence to procedures, policies, and credit quality, you will display the ability to balance the needs of the customer and operational guidelines.
In completion of tasks, this role will also require you to liaise with wider ASB stakeholders in a professional manner, promoting operational excellence at all times.Our Rural Banking team is on the hunt for 2 Rural Analysts, one 6-month fixed term and one 12-month fixed term.
Due to the nature of the role, we are open for these roles to be based at any ASB Regional Centre in Aotearoa.To be successful in this role you will bring with you:Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlinesStrong communication skills both written and verbalProven experience in accounting or financial analysisAn understanding of the rural industry including farming businessesCredit management and risk identification skillsKnowledge of Rural and Consumer Lending banking productsDemonstrable understanding of the legal/financial structure in complex organisationsTe mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB:In return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people.
