We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team at Newsham Park Medical Centre in Pukekohe East, Auckland. This is a long-term position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive medical practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.What you'll be doingProviding comprehensive primary healthcare services to a diverse patient populationDiagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditionsConducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testsDeveloping and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with patientsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient recordsReferring patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as neededParticipating in practice meetings and continuing medical education activitiesAdhering to all relevant medical and regulatory standards and guidelinesOption to upskill in minor procedures like skin cancer and family planningWhat we're looking forA medical degree and valid relevant Medical Council of New Zealand registrationStrong clinical skills and the ability to make accurate diagnosesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approachStrong time management and organisational abilitiesA commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvementExperience working in a primary care or community-based healthcare settingWhat we offerAt Newsham Park Medical Centre, we are dedicated to supporting the professional and personal growth of our team.
