We operate a fleet of late-model equipment and take great pride in maintaining it— and we expect you to bring the same level of care and attitude toward the gear you use.Role Overview:As a Hydroseeder at AHC, you'll be responsible for operating hydroseeding equipment and applying a mix of seed, mulch, and fertiliser to establish healthy lawns.
You'll work on a range of projects, from residential to large-scale commercial and civil works.
Your focus will be on ensuring each application is consistent, effective, and suited to the specific requirements of each site, helping achieve strong growth and proper erosion control.
Early starts are required, but they come with the benefit of earlier finish times.You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that each project is completed on time and to the highest quality, while also adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
Your attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to delivering excellent results will be essential in maintaining our company's reputation for quality and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Operate hydroseeding equipment to apply seed, fertiliser, and mulch.Prepare, maintain and clean equipment for daily use, ensuring its proper functioning.Collaborate with site supervisors and clients to meet project timelines and expectations.Monitor and maintain the quality of the work, ensuring customer satisfaction.Adhere to health and safety practices, ensuring a safe work environment.Operate and update job cards on Servicem8 (job planning software).What We're Looking For:Previous experience in landscaping or construction role.Understanding of erosion control and revegetation processes is great, but not a must.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Able to back a trailer, drive a manual.Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions, and lifting heavy items easily.
