Our space systems business includes our extensive line of satellites and components that have enabled more than 1,700 missions including the James Webb Space Telescope, NASA Psyche Mission, Artemis I, Mars Ingenuity helicopter, and more.Join our pioneering team and launch your career to new heightsCNC ProgrammerRocket Lab's Machine Shop is responsible for the advanced machinery across our global manufacturing sites to get our satellites, satellite components, and rockets out the door.As a CNC Programmer your objective is to produce quality machined parts, maximising production and machine utilisation on the equipment to which you are assigned.
You are expected to be an expert in the field, capable of developing smart machining methods, while also providing sound manufacturing advice to engineers.All programmers at Rocket Lab prepare toolpaths and operate a range of manual and CNC mills and lathes.
They are expected to be experts at getting things done.
