You will work closely with the Finance Lead of the integration project, Chapter Area Lead, CFO, and the business unit leaders to ensure a smooth and successful integration and finance transformation.

This role will also be accountable for establishing governance and operating rhythm on financial control matters including completeness of the financial reporting, compliance, and risk management of the business.Support the accounting aspects of business acquisitionEstablish integration and change management on financial close – including payroll accounting, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, management reporting, budgeting, managing relationship with auditorsResponsibility across multiple reporting basis – IFRS, US GAAP, Statutory and Regulatory reportingCoordinate and collaborate with the Finance Lead and the business unit leaders on the acquisition and integration strategy, objectives, and priorities.Identify and implement best practices, process improvements, and system enhancements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.Ensure that the financial control framework complies with the relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies for the Australia and New Zealand businessManage and develop a team of finance professionals, and provide coaching and guidance on their career development.Monitor and report on the financial performance and key metrics of the business, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.For each of the defined finance function – processes and controls need to be defined and operated effectively within Resolution Life's risk appetite.Your StoryAsteron Life has adopted agile ways of working, providing a flexible environment for individuals to make a significant contribution to our success through the application of their skill and experience.
