This role will be initially working on our general surgical wards as part of the wider cardiorespiratory inpatient team with a future move towards medical wards to further enhance your development.
Our surgical services span across our 4 general surgical wards, encompassing general surgical, vascular and trauma patients.
Currently, we have a team of approximately 4 Physiotherapists, including advanced, senior and core clinicians, dedicated to working within these services.
You will be working as part of the ward multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent delivery of care to our clinically and culturally diverse population within the inpatient setting.
Due to the acute fast-paced nature of our wards, you'll be expected to have excellent clinical reasoning skills plus the ability to make prompt and effective decisions/plans for your patients.
