Due to an internal promotion, we have an awesome opportunity for a Yard Assistant to join our Gisborne team. This is a varied role where you'll be hands-on and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the yard including yard maintenance and operating the loaders and forklifts.

We're looking for someone with: Current Class 1 full licenceForklift licence and W endorsement is essentialExperience with general yard maintenance and knowledge of how to clean machinery is advantageousExperienced in general handy person repairsSelf-motivated, can-do attitude and a team playerPhysically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasksGood understanding of site safety and hazard managementFlexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the teamExcellent communication with co-workers and managementCreating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
