The owners live on farm and are happy to work alongside the successful Manager in a supportive role.As the Farm Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and planning of Karamu and the oversight of Rangitautau, supporting the Block Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day running of that block.
The appointee will have the experience to make informed decisions and understand the principles of good farm management.Excellent communication skills are important, both within the team and for liaising with contractors and suppliers.
Key to your success in this role will be your ability to manage both the stock and pasture at crucial times of the year, both with the stud and commercial stock.WHOOur client is looking for a passionate Farm Manager who has a strong understanding of pasture and feed management.
