Hato Hone St John has developed a programme to share animal companions within local rest homes, hospitals and schools within the local community.Therapy Pets is a voluntary programme that enhances the lives of others, and we need your help
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to become a Therapy Pet Team Leader for our Palmerston North team.You will:Provide support and mentoring to the team of Therapy Pet VolunteersRecruit new volunteers, match volunteers and their pets with suitable facilitiesLiaise with facilities visited by volunteersMonthly reporting and liaising with local St JohnOrganising recognition events and team connectsPlease note, this is an unpaid voluntary position.QualificationsKo wai koe - About you:This role is flexible and can work around your availability, ideally you will be able to commit at least 2-3 hours per week.
