Our service-oriented mission is in action every day, whether it's by providing care in our facilities, training the next generation of health care professionals, or serving others through international outreach.Department OverviewThe KTS Driver transports wheelchair bound patients to and/or from medical care facilities.Responsibilities & RequirementsJob Specific Duties:Ensures the basic needs of the patient is met during transport.Arrives on time at patient pick-up locations.Ensures that patients are left at the appropriate destination.Completes patient care and billing reports.Ability to properly use wheelchair lift in ambulette vehicle and safely secure all patients.Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.Operational Duties:Performs regular assigned shift duties.Maintains cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment.Completes detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports, in a timely manner, at the request of management.Uses appropriate terminology and tone and follows all radio communication procedures.Drives company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies.Job Requirements:High School diploma or GEDFirst Aid certification, preferredCPR certification, preferredValid driver's license, with no more than four (4) points, and approval by company insurance provider
