Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora – Masterton, North Island Permanent Vacancy Ref # 6672671 Te Whatu Ora Wairararapa provides comprehensive health services throughout the Wairarapa District, and its base is the Wairarapa Hospital in Masterton.
The current hospital is 10 years old and supplies a range of core services to this community including general and orthopaedic surgery, general medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and mental health services.
Other services are currently supplied by visiting specialists, including ophthalmology.
The hospital provides student teaching facilities for the University of Otago.
Working at Health New Zealand - Wairarapa you will become part of an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed team of health workers providing a modern and innovative approach to healthcare, with the bonus of a healthy balanced lifestyle and opportunities for professional development.
This is a full time position, working 80 hours per fortnight, although part time hours will be considered.
Applicants must be eligible for Vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
We are committed to clinical excellence in all disciplines; and Senior Medical Staff are encouraged to take part in clinical audits and peer reviews to ensure quality clinical care is provided.
