About Us: New World Pioneer is a large format, locally owned and operated supermarket in Palmerston North. We employ a team of 200+ who pride themselves on delivering exceptional Customer Service. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Early Morning Stock Fillers.
This part-time position is perfect for students looking to gain valuable work experience while maintaining their academic commitments, and/or parents looking to supplement their household income.
This opportunity is a casual role from 5:00 am to 8:00 am.
Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient and accurate handling of stock, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Assist with organizing and maintaining a well-organized stockroom.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
Availability to work from 5 am to 8 am.
Role will be available 6 days of the week, ideally successful applicants will work 2-3 shifts per week.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Ability to handle chilled and frozen products following safety guidelines.
Basic knowledge of stocktaking procedures.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate these key abilities:
Physically fit and healthy.
Supermarket and retail experience is beneficial.
Reliable and a great team player.
Maintain high standards and eye for detail.
A dedication to Food Safety and Health and Safety.
