Oceania Dairy is looking for a skilled UHT Process Manager who can provide an analytical approach and manufacture world-class results within the dairy industry.You will be accountable and lead the team to deliver products to the highest quality, on time, and within budget.
This role requires you to have good problem-solving skills and the ability to seek opportunities for future and continuous improvement projects to optimise productivity & production costs.
You will be experienced in lean manufacturing and demonstrate a knowledge of regulatory requirements for producing dairy products.This role is pivotal to the success of our operations, and you will be able to bring all stakeholders together to achieve our targets.
Our business is growing, so relationships & communication with Supply Chain, Quality, Health & Safety, Finance, Technical and Maintenance are critical.In the role of UHT Process Manager you will be responsible for (not limited to):Oversee and manage all aspects of UHT processing operations, ensuring product safety, quality, and efficiency.Optimise UHT processing parameters and troubleshoot equipment issues to maximise efficiency and product quality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals, including quality assurance, maintenance, and production.Monitor and analyse process data to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP and MPI requirements.Promote a safety, quality, and teamwork culture within the UHT Department.The successful applicant will have:Previous dairy production experience, with a background in process engineering or supervision.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.Strong computer skills for data analysis and reporting.Experience leading teams.Strong time management and self-motivation.Why choose Oceania Dairy?State-of-the-art facilities.Free employee bus provided from Timaru and Oamaru to travel to site.Southern Cross Health Insurance.On-site gym, annual health checks, on-site physiotherapy, additional benefits.Employee Assistance Program.Oceania Dairy has a strong safety culture.Values lead organisation committed to the training and development of employees.Why wait - apply now?If you want to take the next step in your career, apply now.How do your skills match this job?Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics 101-1,000 employees
