About The RoleAs a Horticulture Trainee, day-to-day you will help the team carry out routine maintenance of plants and gardens in parks and open spaces but as you study, you will learn and develop the skills below:
Comprehend factors affecting plant cycles and basic soil scienceIdentify, report, and control plant pests and diseasesRecognise different types of amenity plantsEvaluate, prune, and train trees and shrubs for optimal growthPrepare and oversee plans for amenity sitesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in the field is not required.
