Our head office in Auckland is a modern, functional space overlooking the Viaduct, and just a 5 minute walk from Britomart's central transport hub.

The Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Engineer who will help drive and lead our market leading engineering capability along with our other Senior Engineering Leadership team members.
This is a technical role where you'll find yourself leading a variety of teams and engagements contributing to modern software engineering practices, architecture, solution design through to hands on coding of software, pipelines and test automation.
You'll support our engineers in a way that encourages them to innovate and align to our values & meaningful outcomes for ClearPoint clients.
You will possess strong expertise in .NET (C#), ReactJS (TypeScript) full-stack development, Cloud Computing especially with AWS (other platforms such as Azure and GCP are nice to have), SQL, and microservices design.
Proficiency in DevOps practices like CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is highly desirable.
You'll join cross-functional teams to deliver commercial software projects.
Immediate availability is ideal (but not a must), and we're offering permanent roles based in our Auckland offices.
The experience we're looking for: Deep practical knowledge .NET/.NET core framework and development of at least 8+ years' experienceStrong knowledge and experience with web application frameworks e.g.
MVC, WebAPI, ASP.NET CoreStrong understanding and experience with microservices design and implementationSolid knowledge of architecture and design principles for modern web & cloud architectures (AWS - preferably, Azure and/or GCP)Strong experience with the implementation of automated unit and integration testing strategy, design and implementationGood experience with container technologies and practices (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
)Strong experience with front-end application frameworks such as ReactJS using Typescript & JavascriptKnowledge and experience with SQL/NoSQL and Database DesignKnowledge and experience with continuous integration and delivery systems (e.g.
Team City, GHA, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy)Experience and practice in Agile development methods, tools and processes e.g.
SCRUM, FDD, TDDExperience managing multiple competing commitments within high intensity and fast-moving environmentsAbility to make formal and informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff, and customersProven delivery of high-quality solutionsWhat's on offer?
