With leading edge technology, the Company operates the country's largest sawmill, and is a well-established and successful business.We have an opportunity for a qualified Sawdoctor - January 2025 start.Hours of work for this position are Nightshift Monday – Thursday, 6.00pm – 6.00am with an overtime rate of time and half for all hours worked over 40 hours per week and a night shift allowance payable for each complete week worked.Ideal applicants will have:2-3 years experience in a sawshopSawdoctor L3 or L4 qualificationA history of reliability, along with a strong commitment to workplace safetyA high level of physical fitness and strength due to the nature of the work tasksBe energetic with a 'can-do' attitude – strive for perfectionA short mechanical & mathematical aptitude test may be required as part of the recruitment process.A pre-employment drug test, reference checks from 2 prior line managers and pre-employment medical applies.Apply by completing your registration and application form including a cover letter and c.v.
